Hey peeps,

I miss you terribly.

Lately, there is just toooo much stuff going on.

My birthday was yesterday, as so many of you noticed. Whaaa – you didn’t?? Well, it was. I turned 37 and that is the new 27, so shut up.

I had my gals over Saturday and we ate a bunch of fattening things and drank a bunch of alcoholic beverages and played a game that had me cleaning up little notes with very dirty secrets all day next day. ( All about sex and embarrassing things involving farts and peeing in inapropriate places. Golly. Those girls. Don’t know why they’d think I’d appreciate that kind of thing. Pfff.)

Sunday the whole family came round for more food and not so much alcohol for me, ‘cuz I sure can’t drink like I used to.

But I got lots of really cool presents.

So. Just wanted to say “Hi” and how much I miss you.

I will soon write something absolutely brilliant.

Genius.

We’re talking Pulitzer – material!!!

Soon.

While I pull myself together, take a look at this: Scenes From a Hat.

Love,

Cinda

This girl’s 37 and she snagged Ryan Gosling, so yeah… I have to agree with you there.

Gotta hear more about that game! Ofcourse only to judge such a childish behaviour, not at all to play it myself when the girls come over… *cough*

Well, I look exactly like that too!!! Amazing. The likeness is uncanny.
Yes, I will tell you about the game. Stay tuned! I love playing games. Not in the mind-fucking-way, though.
      Love,
      Cinda

On that note, here’s an article you might find interesting. Something about the children on page 2 made me think of you.

    @Lilja Sif,
Yup, that’s me. And my kids. It probably isn’t scientifically-brain-developmentally possible but even my 2 year old gets some sarcasm. He – for sure – has a sense of humour. Like when he told me he wanted to give me a kiss: I stuck my face close to his, he pinched my nose and went: “Hooonk!” and then laughed hysterically. AT TWO!!!!
It is interesting too, that sarcasm is a cultural phenomenon. I once had a brief conversation with an Englishman in New York, (I kid you not and unfortunately it was not Sting) and after talking for a few minutes, he stood up straight, looked at me and said: “It is so lovely to talk to you. I haven’t heard sarcasm in MONTHS!”

(In my experience, Americans can be plenty sarcastic but anyway..)

Can I just also say – with no sarcasm whatsoever – how extremely happy, humble and in ave it makes me, that I have made a friend, who thinks of me when reading an article, copies it and posts it with a comment on my blog. I mean…
We have never met each other.
And still, there you are: A person in the big world, with brain synapses that occasionally wire in a way that makes you think of me. Little old me.

    With love and gratitude,

    Cinda

      What can I say – you’re just such a large person (and I mean personality-wise, obviously). 🙂

      Adorable kid !! 😀
